BDSM: An Introduction

When you hear the term “BDSM”, which stands for Bondage, Dominance, Sadism, and Masochism, you may conjure an image in your mind of a dark dungeon with bizarre equipment, intimidating people, and cries of pain. While this image may interest you, which is perfectly fine, it also may not, which may have deterred you from exploring BDSM so far…but you feel it calling you all the same.

I am happy to provide an introduction to BDSM that widens beyond that dungeon scene into something that feels sexy and exciting for you! From learning safe bondage and equipment practices to finding your niche interests, together we will find out what aspects of BDSM work and don’t work for you and how to incorporate them into the bedroom.

Exploring Female Dominance

One of my favorite things to work with clients on is dominance, especially female dominance. Exploring our dominant side may already feel taboo or frowned upon, and when we look to porn for examples, they’re often harsh, cruel, and violent. At the end of the day, these are male fantasies taken to the extreme, and they don’t represent what dominance can actually look like for women who aren’t interested in being cruel.

Finding my own dominant side not only deepened my relationships, but it boosted my day-to-day confidence and empowered me to find my pleasure in everything I do rather than trying to please everyone else.

If you’re interested in discovering and developing your dominant side, I will guide you through finding your power and safely using it for the pleasure of you and your partner(s).

Experiencing Safe Submission

Being submissive in the bedroom is incredibly vulnerable; you’re trusting another person to take care of you and give you what you need while you relax and be in your body. Submission is freeing, healing, and incredibly arousing—if you know what you’re doing and how your dominant partner should be treating you.

For women, society expects you to be submissive by default, and if you don’t know what you’re doing, you can end up severely hurt by a malicious or inexperienced dominant. I will guide you through submission and show you how a dominant is supposed to act, as well as hone in on what kind of submissive you are, and what kind of dominant you’re looking for.

For men, society considers you weak and feminine for your submission, but you are not. You are a man who is tired of the expectations placed on you, who seeks to let go and feel safe, and who seeks to be cared for as you have been taught to care for others. Together, we will deshamify your submissive desires and empower you to communicate effectively with dominants so that you may experience the pleasure that you crave…and deserve.

Feeling Kinky?

Beyond BDSM, or perhaps alongside it, there are kinks. Additional aspects of sex you’re interested in exploring, such as introducing props or food, roleplaying, watching others have sex, or a number of other things. The list of kinks is expansive and near endless!

Kink can add flavor to the base BDSM—Mommy/Daddy Doms and their littles, owners and pets, andmasters and slaves are examples of dominant/submissive dynamics that add some extra pizazz.

Participating in kink can bring up feelings of shame, especially if you were raised in a sex-negative environment, or your kinks are darker and/or related to trauma. When you work with me, we will deshamify your kinks and desires and celebrate your fantasies!
